The 33rd was organized at Pensacola, Florida on April 23, 1862 and disbanded before the official surrender. Contains rosters, letters, battles, flags and burial records.
Organized during June 1861. While in camp, they contracted measles and the Alabama regiment left without them. So, they wound up serving with the 38th Tennessee Regiment.
